They say laughter is the best medicine…and who knows that better than a doctor? Dr. Bill Miller knows! He is a practicing physician and comedian based in Chicago, and is board certified in Emergency Medicine and Anesthesiology.

While attending Northwestern University Medical School, Dr. Bill began performing at comedy clubs throughout Chicago and the Midwest. Soon he was an in-demand comedy club headliner…with appearances on Showtime, A&E, Comedy Tonight, WGN Radio and many more.

When he is on stage, at a medical conference or comedy club, he exposes the comedic side of Medicine. Through the eyes of a doctor you will make rounds, perform consults, examine patients and even may be examined! Don’t be anxious though, Dr. Bill is in the house!

In the 1980’s, Ritch Shydner made numerous appearances on TV, including “Late Night with David Letterman” and “The Tonight Show.” He played Al Bundy’s co-worker on “Married with Children”, and appeared in “Designing Women,” “Roseanne,” and films such as “Roxanne” and “Beverly Hills Cop II.”

He wrote for sitcoms such as “Roseanne”, “The Jeff Foxworthy Show,” and HBO’s “The Mind of the Married Man.” Ritch wrote material for Jeff Foxworthy’s Grammy nominated comedy albums, “Totally Committed,” and “Big Fun.” He also wrote for Ron White and Jay Leno.

Ritch is currently performing, “America’s Reflection in the Funhouse Mirror, A History of Stand-up Comedy,” to small audiences. He continues to work hard at avoiding work. He has given up any dreams of stardom for the satisfaction of not being an aging Uber Driver!
